Welding connects metals, industries, and people

We develop welding solutions that connect more than just metal

We aspire to produce more than just welding systems, which is why we are the innovation leader for arc welding and are constantly developing welding processes further.

In addition to welding technology for robot applications, we offer solutions for manual gas shielded arc welding, for MIG/MAG, TIG, and MMA welding processes. We also implement automated, complete welding solutions tailored to customer requirements in the field of welding automation.

After all, welding creates connections - between metals, between industries, and between people. Connected by the arc, by passion, by the beat of welding.

Welding processes at a glance - MIG/MAG and TIG welding explained simply

What is MIG/MAG welding?

MIG/MAG welding is also referred to as gas metal arc welding. A differentiation is made between metal inert gas welding (MIG) and metal active gas welding (MAG). MIG/MAG is currently the most frequently used welding process and allows for particularly high welding speeds. It can be used in a manual, mechanized or robot-supported manner.

What is TIG welding?

Tungsten inert gas welding (TIG welding) is a gas shielded welding process and is one of the fusion welding processes. It is used wherever optimum quality and spatter-free weld seams are required. TIG welding is suitable, among other things, for stainless steels, aluminum and nickel alloys as well for thin sheet metal made of aluminum and stainless steel. It is used in pipeline and container construction, in portal construction and in aerospace applications.
